Benefits for kids, pregnant and breastfeeding mums

Good nutrition for motherhood begins before conception, providing a head start for both the mother and baby. It is especially important to have a plentiful supply of nutritious fatty acids, such as Omega 3, 6 and 9 before becoming pregnant and to continue during pregnancy to maintain optimal health.

Puria Omega Oil provides these essential fatty acids that are important for mother and baby throughout pregnancy, during breastfeeding and early activities for children.

Heart Benefits

These polyunsaturated fats are also important for cardiovascular health. A diet lower in saturated fat, which is replaced by essential Omega 3 and 6, helps to reduce “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood, that can leave deposits on arterial walls and restrict the flow of blood throughout the body.

Omega 9 is important for heart health and blood sugar control. It’s naturally present in the body because the body has the necessary enzymes for the synthesis of Omega 9. However, there are some cases where the body is unable to produce adequate amounts of Omega 9 on its own, so it is ideal to have the option of a dietary source.

This delicious blend of Walnut, Avocado and Olive Oils is an excellent way to supplement your diet with Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids.

Omega 3 and Omega 6 are essential fatty acids that we need to receive in our diet because they can’t be produced by the body. These fats can help in the regulation and building of cells, building immunity, and can also help the body absorb nutrients.

A diet lower in saturated fat, supplemented by essential Omega 3 and 6, helps to reduce “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Triglycerides are types of fat found in the blood, and together with LDL cholesterol may lead to deposits on arterial walls that can restrict the flow of blood throughout the body.

Omega 9 is important for heart health and blood sugar control. It is naturally occurring because the body does contain the necessary enzymes for synthesis of Omega 9 to take place. However, there are some cases where the body is unable to produce adequate amounts of Omega 9 on its own, so it is great to have the option of a supplement in your diet.
