These Terms and conditions govern the use of Puria online service including shopping, participation in promotions and community involvement on the Puria site. You can access the terms and conditions at any time at the bottom of the page.

Purchasing from

Puria provides shoppers with a quick, easy and secure way to purchase our products online. The range of goods offered on is sourced from the Puria New Zealand range of products (products sold in other countries may differ from this range).

Products displayed on the sites shopping areas can be purchased using secure online Visa and MasterCard transaction facility. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by the leading security mechanisms available and are ONLY used to fulfil your order. Puria does NOT hold on to cardholder information.

You can complete an order either as a guest or by becoming a member of By registering as a member you will be able to purchase Puria products quicker and easier in the future and opt to receive regular emails. Any order placed by you in the manner described on this website is an agreement by you to purchase a particular product at the advertised price (including delivery costs and other charges) specified on this website at the time you place your order. Orders are only accepted online and while stocks last. You acknowledge that, by placing an order, you are agreeing to pay for the total sum. Please note that products placed in the ‘shopping basket’ that are not paid for may be subject to change.

If the items you order are out of stock Puria will contact you to offer a refund or advise an alternative delivery date. Please note that we do not offer through this site products that require refrigeration. You can purchase these from your local retailer.

Capacity to contract

Orders can only be placed with by persons with capacity to contract who are over the age of 18. At this time, we are only allowing the ability to purchase within New Zealand.


All prices in the online shop are represented in New Zealand currency, NZD. All prices are inclusive of the New Zealand Government’s Goods and Services Tax (GST), currently set at 15% of the price of all products. All prices are correct at the time of publication; however we reserve the right to alter prices for any reason at any time.

Credit Card transactions are processed in New Zealand.


We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorized and debited in real time, all in an SSL secure environment. The Hosted Payment page enables us to offer customers a safe and speedy online shopping experience.

We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect the security of your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities secured by the latest in surveillance and security technology. When we transmit sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) over the internet, we protect it through the use of encryption using 168bit 3DES encryption. DPS is also certified AIS compliant.”


Puria tries to keep delivery costs at a minimum and reserve the right to amend our rates from time to time – delivery is charged on a per parcel basis. Please ensure that you supply us with your full and correct shipping address. Puria will not, and cannot be responsible for orders that go missing when the customer has incorrectly advised us of their address.  Should you enter the wrong address, Puria is not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our expense.

If you supply us with a false address we will not ship the goods. If you fail to supply a valid address after 14 days we will cancel your order.

Each purchase will be shipped as a separate order and cannot be combined. Puria cannot guarantee delivery times, but we do everything within our means to get the product to you in a timely fashion. All deliveries are made Monday – Friday via courier (no weekend deliveries). If you are not at home to receive your parcel, a card will be left so you can pick it up from the closest courier office. Deliveries are limited to New Zealand only.

  • New Zealand (Rest of the country non-rural) 2-4 business days
  • New Zealand (rural) 3- 6 business days

Guarantee of safe arrival

All products are packaged to standard. If there is any damage to the package content – please contact Puria on and we will respond within 48 hours during weekdays.


Puria makes every effort to ensure the quality of our products and that your purchase arrives to you in good condition. If for any reason you experience a problem with your order please email us at and we will do our utmost to resolve any issue. Puria stand by the quality of our products and if there is a problem please notify us within 14 days of your order, where we will be happy to offer a replacement if appropriate. Please note we cannot refund postage and packaging unless goods are deemed to be faulty. However, misuse, unauthorized use or product tampering may prevent us from accepting return of product. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns from overseas.

Customs / Import Regulations

Customs and import regulations vary widely between countries. Unfortunately, it’s not possible for us to be aware of all of the regulations specific to any given country.

It’s entirely your responsibility to ensure that any goods which you order are not prohibited/restricted within your delivery country. Puria accept no liability for the refund/replacement of any goods or any costs relating to, or arising from, the importation or confiscation of any goods by your countries Customs Office or other government body. Likewise any import duty or tax payable on your order is not our responsibility and is beyond our control. If an order is returned to us by your countries import authorities in resalable condition, we’ll refund you the value of the order less any postage costs incurred to us. We can’t provide a refund until we’ve received the products back. We don’t provide refunds on parcels that are detained or confiscated at your countries customs due to containing items which are prohibited.

We accept no liability for any goods lost in transit outside of New Zealand.

Use of the Service by You

Your right to use the service is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use the service, and you are responsible for all of your own use of the service.

The service’s content, information and advice is free of charge (unless otherwise stipulated). However you are responsible for your own network and connection charges.


Puria never passes on, sells or distributes your information to anyone else. If you choose to join our mailing list we will email you monthly with product news, upcoming promotions and general information. At any time you can unsubscribe from our mailing list.
